MCAP to lease five new A320-200 to Tiger Airways Holdings Group

MC Aviation Partners Inc. (“MCAP”) announced the Purchase and Leaseback of five new Airbus A320-200 aircraft with Tiger Airways Holding Limited (“Tiger Airways”)’s subsidiaries. MCAP had previously acquired one Airbus A320-200 aircraft which was leased to Tiger Airways Singapore Pte Ltd in April last year. The five new Airbus A320-200 aircraft, delivered from April 2012 onwards, will be leased to Tiger Airways’s subsidiaries on 6-year and 12-year terms.

Tiger Airways is one of Asia’s leading low cost carriers. Established in September 2004, Tiger Airways has steadily grown its fleet to 38 A320-family aircraft with an average age of under three years.
