Mesa Names Chris Pappaioanou Senior Vice President of East Coast Operations

PHOENIX—(BUSINESS WIRE)—Mesa Air Group, Inc. today announced the promotion of Chris Pappaioanou to the newly-created post of Senior Vice President of East Coast Operations, overseeing Mesa hubs in Charlotte, N.C. and Washington Dulles.

Pappaioanou has served in a variety of leadership positions with the company since 2001, including President of go!, its low-cost interisland operation in Hawaii and Vice President and General Counsel. He started his aviation career at Mesa as a ramp agent in Telluride, Colorado.

With his management and operations experience, he’s the perfect fit for this important new role.”

Prior to Mesa, Pappaioanou served as an associate attorney in the Charleston, S.C. office of national law firm Ogletree Deakins, one of the largest labor and employment law firms representing management. Pappaioanou holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Ball State University and a J.D. from Indiana University School of Law in Bloomington, Indiana.
