MidairUSA,Inc. is pleased to announce that construction of the hangar expansion and offices at the Melbourne International Airport has resumed.
After a five month delay, officials of the airport project were notified that construction could proceed following a work stoppage ordered by the Federal Aviation Administration regarding the impact on airspace and air traffic.
The 87,000 –square foot expansion is expected to be completed this fall with doors opening in October. When complete, the Midair complex will consist of an additional ramp, two state of the art hangars, administrative offices, sales, planning, engineering and warehouse. The facility will house a back shop with capabilities to provide extensive parts fabrication and repairs to accommodate existing as well as new customers of the MRO industry.
