More Turkish Successes for AFI KLM E&M

With its long-standing presence on the Turkish market, AFI KLM E&M has been able to forge ties with many airlines.
Paris, Amstelveen, 10 October 2012 – AFI KLM E&M enjoyed a very active period on the Turkish market. The Turkish aviation industry, which is supported by the Turkish authorities, has seen impressive growth over the past decade, trebling the number of its airplanes, with 350 currently in service. The market has grown both in terms of quantity and quality, while complying with the most exacting international standards. “AFI KLM E&M has positioned itself with its customized services,” says Rob Pruim, AFI KLM E&M Senior VP Sales International. “In late 2011 and in the first 9 months of 2012, we signed a number of contracts enabling us to stand out on a market that is very important for us.”

Long- and short-term contracts
AFI KLM E&M, since 2011, signed several MRO agreements with MNG Airlines, ULS Airlines, Pegasus, ACT Airlines and Freebird Airlines. Very recently, an additional significant agreement was concluded with Corendon Airlines for CFM56-7B maintenance, including leases during engines shop visits".
