Moscow Domodedovo Airport has become one of the first Russian airports to receive permit to service takeoff and landing of the Russian short-haul passenger aircraft Sukhoi Superjet 100.
Corresponding Order was issued by the Federal Air Transport Agency. Moscow Domodedovo Airport is ready to accept and service aircrafts of this type and meets all ground servicing requirements.
First Sukhoi Superjet 100 aircraft was presented to the public on 26 September 2007 at factory in Komsomolsk-na-Amure. Its’ first successful flight was demonstrated on 19 May 2008 in the same place. On 3 February 2011 Sukhoi Superjet 100 received Certificate of Type of the Air Register of the Moscow Air Committee.
