MTU Maintenance Berlin-Brandenburg has scored another success in the Latin American CF34 market: Uruguay’s flag carrier Pluna has placed an exclusive order for the maintenance of its CF34-8C5 engines with the Ludwigsfelde-based company. Presently, Pluna operates a CF34-powered fleet of ten CRJ900 jets, but might add another three in future. The contract, which runs until December 2017, is worth around 20 million euros.
