New AerCap Offices in Shannon Officially Opened by Tony Killeen Today

Shannon, Ireland – Amsterdam, The Netherlands; 21 January 2010 – AerCap is pleased to announce the opening of its new Irish offices in Westpark, Shannon, County Clare. The offices were officially opened today by Deputy Tony Killeen, formerly Minister for Defence. AerCap currently employs 54 people in its Shannon Office with employee numbers having increased progressively in recent years. In 2003, the Company employed nine people. Speaking at the opening, Mr. Tom Kelly, CEO of AerCap Ireland Limited, said: “The move to the new state of the art facilities in Westpark is an exciting step in the further growth and development of AerCap and in particular AerCap’s Shannon operations.” Deputy Killeen congratulated AerCap on their new offices and noted: “The continued expansion of AerCap in Ireland is also a further endorsement of Ireland as the leading location in the world for the aircraft leasing and finance industry”.
