BANGKOK, Thailand (June 19, 2014)—Nok Air is proud to announce that the joint venture between Nok Air Public Company Limited and Singapore’s Scoot Pte. Ltd. to establish the new low-cost airline NokScoot has been approved at the Board of Directors meeting today. The new airline based at Don Mueang International Airport, will operate widebody aircraft on medium and long-haul international routes. Nok Air and Scoot will hold not more than 49 percent each, and a company established by the management of the company will hold not more than 2 percent.

Ltd. is a significant step in expanding routes to international destinations.
