Pegasus Airlines, the leading low-cost airline in Turkey and
Lufthansa Technik have signed a base maintenance contract for three
C-Checks for Pegasus Airlines Boeing 737NG aircraft at the Lufthansa
Technik base maintenance location in Sofia, Bulgaria.
Sertac Haybat, General Manager and Member of The Board of Pegasus
Airlines, stated: “We have been very satisfied with the base
maintenance work Lufthansa Technik delivered to us beginning of 2012.
It is therefore not surprising that we would trust Lufthansa Technik
to deliver the same quality and level of service at a very
competitive price once again.”
Wolfgang Weynell, Vice President Marketing & Sales of Lufthansa
Technik added: “This new contract is the latest milestone of the
partnership between Lufthansa Technik and Pegasus Airlines, one of
our most important customers in the region. It is also a proof of the
good competitiveness of our products.”
“Lufthansa Technik Group’s network and its regional sites in Bulgaria
and Hungary mean that local customers can rely on very good support
no matter what they need,” emphasizes Fulya Türköz, Manager of
Lufthansa Technik´s representative office in Istanbul Türkiye.
Lufthansa Technik has opened 2012 a representative office in the
Turkish metropolis Istanbul – a step that acknowledges the growing
importance of the Turkish market. Turkey is one of the ten most
strongly growing countries around the world and the aviation industry
in particular is steadily gaining in importance.
