PEMCO Continues Cargo Conversion Dominance with Latest Redelivers to Leading Chinese Air Courier

PEMCO World Air Services (PEMCO) has announced the redelivery of two 737-300F (MSN 27287 and MSN 26317) to SF Airlines. PEMCO has now completed nine 737-300/400 freighter conversion projects for SF Airlines, the air cargo division of Shenzhen-based logistics specialist SF Express—one of the leading couriers in China and a significant catalyst of the Chinese economy.

The latest PEMCO freighters to join SF Airlines’ growing freighter fleet were converted by PEMCO’s longtime partner—STAECO in Jinan Shandong China. PEMCO and STAECO have partnered on more than 50 Boeing 737-300 and 737-400 freighter modification projects since 2006. Today PEMCO, together with its four regional conversion installation partners, provide seamless product support to Boeing 737 freighter operators around the globe.

SFA’s recent fleet additions—offer nine pallet positions (88×125”, 88×108”, 96×125”), up to 43,100 lb. payload and 4600 cubic feet of total volume. Like many of PEMCO’s 60+ other customers, SF Airlines selected PEMCO’s passenger-to-freighter conversion for its superior cargo conversion, its unparalleled operating economics, and its unrivaled two million hours of safe, reliable operations. PEMCO’s B737 freighter conversions are the world’s only 737 conversions designed, built and supported with genuine Boeing data obtained under a full license agreement to outperform and outlast the competition.

“We are honored to be SF Airlines’ B737 freighter provider of choice,” said Pastor Lopez, PEMCO CEO. “The level of cooperation that has developed between our organizations is a testament to the integrity, professionalism and cultural openness that characterize the cooperation between our organizations. Freighter demand within the PRC and adjacent economies will continue to grow rapidly, in part due to SF Airlines and SF Express network build-out and we look forward to continuing to deliver the best quality aircraft to help ensure SF’s operational success and profitability.”

SF Airlines’ PEMCO-built 737-300/400 freighters are helping meet SFA’s ever-increasing freight lift requirements driven by its meteoric rise as a preeminent express carrier in China. According to the carrier, the reliability and operating economics of the PEMCO 737 freighters in SF’s regional network have exceeded their expectations and enabled SF Airlines to expand its operation profitably and effectively.
