TORONTO, April 3, 2013 /CNW/ – Porter Airlines reported a load factor of 58.1 per cent in March, representing a decline of 1.7 points compared to 2012.
Figures for the month show 118 million Available Seat Miles (ASMs) and 68.6 million Revenue Passenger Miles (RPMs), compared to 117.2 million ASMs and 70.1 million RPMs last year.
“March is when we see the first signs of an upswing in passenger numbers for the year,” said Robert Deluce, president and CEO of Porter Airlines. “After a load factor increase of more than 10 points last year, we have solidified much of that gain while leveling off capacity growth.”
