PowerJet signs exclusive SaM146 engine maintenance contract with Sky Aviation

Sky Aviation, represented by Chief Executive Officer Krisman Tarigan, and PowerJet, represented by Jacques Desclaux, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, signed a 10-year “by the hour” maintenance contract on March 19, covering 24 SaM146 engines powering Sky Aviation’s new Sukhoi Superjet 100 (SSJ100) regional jets.

According to this contract, Sky Aviation will be covered by PowerLifeTM, a dedicated customer service package comprising the engine and its line replaceable units (LRU), including access to a PowerJet replacement pool. A dedicated PowerJet field representative will be assigned to Sky Aviation’s operational base at Jakarta Airport for one year.
