Nashville, May 18, 2011 –PowerJet is pleased to announce the launch of its comprehensive new customer care service, dubbed PowerLife, at the 36th RAA convention.
PowerJet is totally devoted to accompanying Sukhoi Superjet 100 aircraft in service by setting up a comprehensive support & maintenance network.
Building on the experience and resources of parent companies Snecma and Saturn, PowerJet has developed a dedicated SaM146 support & service organization under the PowerLife brand name, ensuring fast and reliable access to services and information anywhere in the world. PowerJet is the world’s premier manufacturer of regional jet engines to provide a single point-of-contact for all support & services on the complete propulsion system, including engine, equipment and nacelle.
PowerLife comprises a Customer Support Center with an AOG hotline open 24/7, an Engine Data & Documentation Center, front & back-office support, Field Reps & Technical Support Centers set up worldwide, Distribution Centers to handle all spare parts, MRO centers and customer staff training.

The SaM146 propulsion system was designed from the outset with a customer-centric approach. PowerJet offers a complete range of service solutions tailored to each customer’s specific requirements, from one-time repairs to complete “by the hour” service packages.
PowerJet was created in July 2004 as an equally-owned subsidiary of Snecma (Safran group, France) and NPO Saturn (Russia). It is in charge of the SaM146 propulsion system, including development, production, marketing, sales and support. In April 2003, the SaM146 was chosen by Sukhoi Civil Aircraft to power the new Superjet 100 regional jet.
