Republic Airways Holdings Reports April 2014 Traffic

INDIANAPOLIS—(BUSINESS WIRE)—Republic Airways Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ/NM: RJET) today reported preliminary passenger traffic results for April 2014.

The Company generated nearly 1 billion revenue passenger miles (RPMs) in April, a 17% increase over the same period in 2013, on an 11% increase in available seat miles (ASMs). Block hours were 3% greater, and load factor increased four percentage points from the same period in 2013. Republic Airways carried nearly 2 million passengers, a 7% increase compared to April 2013.

April departures were 3% below the same period in 2013.
