Republic Airways Holdings Reports May 2014 Traffic

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.—(BUSINESS WIRE)—Republic Airways Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: RJET) today reported preliminary passenger traffic results for May 2014.

The Company generated more than 1 billion revenue passenger miles (RPMs) in May, a 15% increase over the same period in 2013, on a 9% increase in available seat miles (ASMs). Block hours were virtually unchanged, and load factor increased four percentage points from the same period in 2013. Republic Airways carried nearly 2 million passengers, a 6% increase compared to May 2013.

May departures were 7% below the same period in 2013.
