RYANAIR CELEBRATES RECORD YEAR IN 2010

Ryanair, the world’s favourite airline, today (4th Jan) celebrated 2010 with more passengers than ever before travelling on Ryanair’s guaranteed lowest fare services.

Ryanair’s 2010 traffic highlights include:

Traffic grew by 10% from 65m to over 72m passengers

A new monthly record of over 7.7m passengers in August.

The busiest day of travel was 30th July when over 255,000 flew on over 1,400 Ryanair flights.

The busiest booking day was 26 April when over 310,000 bookings were made on www.ryanair.com.

To celebrate another record year in 2010 Ryanair today released 1m €6 seats for travel on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays in February, which are available for booking on www.ryanair.com until midnight Thursday (6th Jan).
