Swiftair, one of the largest ATR operators for cargo and passenger services, has decided to pursue its close collaboration with Sabena technics on component support.
Operating a mixed fleet of over 30 aircraft, Swiftair is one of the strongest private airlines in Spain. The airline operates scheduled and charter flights in civil and military sectors and has been growing every year since its creation. For the maintenance of its ATRs, Swiftair has been relying on Sabena technics since the very first acquisition of its ATRs back in 2003. Sabena technics’ know-how on ATRs and quality of service are the key elements of this long-lasting business relationship.
Within the scope of the contract, Sabena technics provides Swiftair with unlimited pool access on ATR components, repair & overhaul services as well as a dedicated main base kit to ensure the continuity of the flight operations, anywhere in the world. Additional added-value services are also provided on a punctual basis by Sabena technics and tailored to Swiftair’s needs in order to improve the reliability of its flight operations. Swiftair also trusts Sabena technics with the component support of its Boeing B373CG fleet.
“Sabena technics’ support for Swiftair’ ATR fleet has been a success for ten years. That is why today we are pleased to announce the extension of our ATR Integrated services contract for four more years at least”, explained Ignacio Gonzalez-Aller, Logistics Director of Swift Global Logistics.
“Sabena technics is proud of the renewed trust of Swiftair, which is the result of the strong relationship developed between both companies during the last 10 years. Our company is thrilled to be part of this success story and will keep on fulfilling its maintenance missions and supporting Swiftair in its specific operations,” commented Rodolphe Marchais, Chairman & CEO of Sabena technics.
