Sabena technics’ painting facilities are now recognized by Boeing Business Jets

In March 2013, after Sabena technics painted one of the first BBJ3 aircraft, Boeing Business Jets decided to add Sabena technics as the first recognized painting facility in Europe.

Sabena technics, whose aircraft painting company, Sabena technics painting, is composed of 60 skilled painters in both Bordeaux and Dinard (France), possesses the expertise for the painting of new aircraft as well as for the painting of VIP aircraft.

With its ISO 14001 painting hangars, Sabena technics is able to accommodate BBJs and carry out each and every painting scheme, be it very subtle or very complex, with particular processes.

Indeed, customers’ expectations for VIP aircraft painting are different from the one of airline aircraft painting. The painting products and the painting processes are different, in order to give the aircraft a particularly flawless and shiny finish.

“Boeing Business Jets’ decision marks one step further for Sabena technics in the VIP aircraft painting market, and reinforces Sabena technics painting’s already excellent reputation”, said Rodolphe Marchais, Chairman & CEO of Sabena technics. “Our excellent relationship with Boeing Business Jets, as well as the expertise of Sabena technics painting, assure me that the painting teams, both in Dinard and Bordeaux, will satisfy the customers who trust us with the painting of their BBJ aircraft.”
