Saudia Cargo launches direct B747 freighter services from Europe to Doha

Saudia Cargo has announced that it is to operate 2 weekly B747 freighter services from Europe to Doha, effective 1 June 2014.

Operating on Wednesdays from Frankfurt and on Sundays from Amsterdam, the new service is expected to meet growing demand in a market currently dominated by a handful of operators.

“We are delighted to be introducing this new direct service from Europe to Doha,” commented Nabil Khojah, CEO at Saudia Cargo. “Not only will it provide our customers with greater choice and flexibility at competitive rates, but it will also be a valuable addition to our expanding network. Thus, further strengthening our position in the Middle Eastern market,” he added.

Saudi Airlines Cargo operates a fleet of 15 freighters and sells the belly-capacity on 145 passenger aircraft for Saudi Arabia’s flag carrier Saudia, spanning a rapidly expanding global network of 225 destinations. In addition to its scheduled freighter services, the cargo airline also provides cost-effective and practical worldwide charter flight solutions from a growing fleet of dedicated charter aircraft.
