SBERBANK IS READY TO PROVIDE MAXIMUM SUPPORT TO IRKUT CORPORATION’S PROJECTS

Vladimir Yashin, Vice-president of JSC Sberbank of Russia, visited Irkutsk aviation plant – branch of JSC IRKUT Corporation (part of JSC United Aircraft Corporation).

During the visit Vladimir Yashin got acquainted with the production of Yak-130 and Su-30SM aircraft for the Russian Air Force as well as components manufacture for Airbus A320 civil aircraft.

Vladimir Yashin said that Sberbank has been working with IRKUT Corporation for about 20 years being the main credit provider for the company. “We jointly realize programs of combat aircraft production for the Russian Defence Ministry and foreign customers. The open limit for IRKUT in Sberbank is about $2 billion. And if the company would need additional funds we are ready to give maximum support” – noted Vladimir Yashin.

Alexander Veprev, General Director of the Irkutsk aviation plant, detailed Vladimir Yashin the preparation of the enterprise for mass production of the MC-21 New generation commercial airliner.

Vladimir Yashin underlined that the investments project for the creation of MC-21 aircraft family has been studied in details by the Bank’ experts and has a high reliability factor. That became a base for signing the 10 years general agreement between Sberbank and IRKUT Corporation with total funding of the project for $1 billion.
