Second Sukhoi Superjet 100 delivered to Sky Aviation

On August, 21 2013 the second Sukhoi Superjet 100 with serial number 95027 was delivered to Indonesian air carrier Sky Aviation on completion of technical acceptance procedure. The aircraft took off from Zhukovsky Delivery Centre (Russia) heading to Indonesia to its base airport.

The first SSJ100 aircraft was delivered late 2012 and it has already operated more than 500 hours at domestic routes.

The airline is planning to extend route network for Sukhoi Superjet 100: the aircraft will be operated on routes connecting numerous Indonesian archipelago islands: Pontianak (Kalimatan Island), Palembang (Sumatra Island) and Natuna Ranai (Batam Island).

Sky Aviation was established in 2010. It is based in Halim Perdanakusuma International Airport (Jakarta, Indonesia). The airline operates scheduled and charter flights in Indonesia.
