SkyWest, Inc. Reports Combined April 2013 Traffic For SkyWest Airlines And ExpressJet Airlines

GEORGE, Utah, May 10, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — SkyWest, Inc., (NASDAQ: SKYW) (“SkyWest”) today reported that passenger boardings for April increased 5.8 percent to 5,034,736 compared to 4,757,224 for the same period last year. SkyWest also reported a 7.5 percent increase in revenue passenger miles (RPMs) for April, while available seat miles (ASMs) increased 8.0 percent compared to April 2012. The combined airlines generated 2.6 billion RPMs for the month, while ASMs increased to 3.2 billion. Load factor decreased to 80.5 percent compared to 80.9 percent in April 2012. SkyWest also reported an increase of 5.4 percent in departures to 122,557 for April compared to 116,307 for the same period last year.
