GEORGE, Utah, Aug. 9, 2012 /PRNewswire/ — SkyWest, Inc., (NASDAQ: SKYW) (“SkyWest”) passenger boardings for July increased 2.0 percent to 5,413,751 compared to 5,306,265 for the same period last year. SkyWest also reported a 1.4 percent decrease in revenue passenger miles (RPMs) for July, while available seat miles (ASMs) decreased 1.5 percent compared to July 2011. The combined airlines generated 2.8 billion RPMs for the month, while ASMs increased to 3.33 billion. Load factor increased to 83.5 compared to 83.4 in July 2011. SkyWest also reported an increase in departures to 129,204 for July compared to 126,199 for the same period last year.
