ST. GEORGE, Utah, Aug. 9, 2013 PRNewswire/ — SkyWest, Inc., (NASDAQ:SKYW) (“SkyWest”) today reported that passenger boardings for July increased 2.0 percent to 5,520,165 compared to 5,413,751 for the same period last year. SkyWest also reported a 4.9 percent increase in revenue passenger miles (RPMs) for July, while available seat miles (ASMs) increased 5.9 percent compared to July 2012. The combined airlines generated 2.9 billion RPMs for the month, while ASMs increased to 3.5 billion. Load factor decreased to 82.6 percent compared to 83.5 percent in July 2012. SkyWest also reported an increase of 0.6 percent in departures to 130,020 for July compared to 129,204 for the same period last year.
