ST. GEORGE, Utah, July 11, 2014 /PRNewswire/ — SkyWest, Inc., (NASDAQ: SKYW) (“SkyWest”) today reported a 1.4 percent decrease in revenue passenger miles (RPMs) for June, while available seat miles (ASMs) decreased 2.5 percent compared to June 2013. SkyWest also reported that passenger boardings for June decreased 3.5 percent to 5,253,163 compared to 5,441,225 for the same period last year. Load factor increased to 84.6 percent compared to 83.7 percent in June 2013. The combined airlines generated 2.8 billion RPMs for the month, while ASMs decreased to 3.3 billion. SkyWest also reported a decrease of 6.9 percent in departures to 117,663 for June compared to 126,350 for the same period last year.
