SkyWest, Inc., Reports Combined March 2011 Traffic for SkyWest Airlines, Atlantic Southeast Airlines, and ExpressJet Airlines.

ST. GEORGE, Utah, April 11, 2011 /PRNewswire/ — SkyWest, Inc., (NASDAQ: SKYW) (“SkyWest”) reported a 52.8 percent increase in departures to 122,075 for March compared to 79,873 for the same period last year. Passenger boardings for March increased 44.8 percent to 4,767,814 compared to 3,292,598 for the same period last year. SkyWest also reported a 50.3 percent increase in revenue passenger miles (RPMs) for March, while available seat miles (ASMs) increased 56.9 percent compared to March 2010. The combined airlines generated 2.46 billion RPMs for the month, while ASMs increased to 3.17 billion. Load factor was 77.6 percent compared to 81.0 percent, down 3.4 percentage points compared to March 2010. The substantial increases for each of the items are due primarily to the acquisition of ExpressJet Airlines on November 12, 2010.
