SkyWest, Inc. Reports Combined March 2013 Traffic For SkyWest Airlines And ExpressJet Airlines

GEORGE, Utah, April 15, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — SkyWest, Inc., (NASDAQ: SKYW) (“SkyWest”) today reported that passenger boardings for March increased 5.7 percent to 5,267,103 compared to 4,981,514 for the same period last year. SkyWest also reported a 6.3 percent increase in revenue passenger miles (RPMs) for March, while available seat miles (ASMs) increased 5.2 percent compared to March 2012. The combined airlines generated 2.7 billion RPMs for the month, while ASMs increased to 3.3 billion. Load factor increased to 81.2 percent compared to 80.5 percent in March 2012. SkyWest also reported an increase of 4.8 percent in departures to 127,353 for March compared to 121,488 for the same period last year.
