SkyWest, Inc. Reports Combined October 2013 Traffic For SkyWest Airlines And ExpressJet Airlines

GEORGE, Utah, Nov. 7, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — SkyWest, Inc., (NASDAQ: SKYW) (“SkyWest”) today reported that passenger boardings for October increased 1.3 percent to 5,210,976 compared to 5,143,540 for the same period last year. SkyWest also reported a 6.3 percent increase in revenue passenger miles (RPMs) for October, while available seat miles (ASMs) increased 7.2 percent compared to October 2012. The combined airlines generated 2.7 billion RPMs for the month, while ASMs increased to 3.4 billion. Load factor decreased to 81.4 percent compared to 82.1 percent in October 2012. SkyWest also reported an increase of 0.9 percent in departures to 123,758 for October compared to 122,693 for the same period last year.
