SkyWest, Inc. Reports Combined October 2014 Traffic For SkyWest Airlines And ExpressJet Airlines

GEORGE, Utah, Nov. 10, 2014 /PRNewswire/ — SkyWest, Inc., (NASDAQ: SKYW) (“SkyWest”) today reported a 2.3 percent decrease in revenue passenger miles (RPMs) for October, while available seat miles (ASMs) decreased 3.2 percent compared to October 2013. SkyWest also reported that passenger boardings for October decreased 3.2 percent to 5,043,654 compared to 5,210,976 for the same period last year. Load factor increased to 82.1 percent compared to 81.4 percent in October 2013. The combined airlines generated 2.7 billion RPMs for the month, while ASMs were 3.3 billion. SkyWest also reported a decrease of 7.3 percent in departures to 114,705 for October compared to 123,758 for the same period last year.
