ST. GEORGE, Utah, Oct. 11, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — SkyWest, Inc., (NASDAQ: SKYW) (“SkyWest”) today reported that passenger boardings for September increased 1.4 percent to 4,899,354 compared to 4,831,914 for the same period last year. SkyWest also reported a 6.9 percent increase in revenue passenger miles (RPMs) for September, while available seat miles (ASMs) increased 7.3 percent compared to September 2012. The combined airlines generated 2.5 billion RPMs for the month, while ASMs increased to 3.2 billion. Load factor decreased to 79.9 percent compared to 80.2 percent in September 2012. SkyWest also reported an increase of 0.3 percent in departures to 118,582 for September compared to 118,181 for the same period last year.
