ST. GEORGE, Utah, Oct. 10, 2014 /PRNewswire/ — SkyWest, Inc., (NASDAQ: SKYW) (“SkyWest”) today reported a 1.8 percent decrease in revenue passenger miles (RPMs) for September, while available seat miles (ASMs) decreased 3.0 percent compared to September 2013. SkyWest also reported that passenger boardings for September decreased 3.2 percent to 4,744,658 compared to 4,899,354 for the same period last year. Load factor increased to 80.9 percent compared to 79.9 percent in September 2013. The combined airlines generated 2.5 billion RPMs for the month, while ASMs decreased to 3.1 billion. SkyWest also reported a decrease of 7.1 percent in departures to 110,142 for September compared to 118,582 for the same period last year.
