Skywest, the Australian and South East Asia regional airline is pleased to announce its network operating statistics for the month of October 2012.
The number of Charter Services increased by 6% compared with the previous year. Skywest RPT traffic, measured by Revenue Passenger Kilometres (RPKs), increased by 32%, while Skywest Charter traffic, which is measured by Charter Available Seat Kilometres (ASKs), decreased by 9%.
Jeff Chatfield, Executive Chairman of Skywest Airlines, commented: “We delivered another month of growth and are particularly pleased with the positive results from our integrated offering with Virgin Australia through the wet lease agreement."
