Spairliners names new Managing Director / CFO

Spairliners GmbH has named Sven-Uve Hueschler as new Managing and
Financial Director. He assumed his role on July 01 and took over the
responsibility of former Managing Director / CFO Andre
Schulte-Bisping. Sven-Uve Hueschler has been with Lufthansa Technik
AG for seven years and was previously in the position of Head of
Business Development of the Product Division Aircraft Component
Services.

Sven-Uve Hueschler brings extensive strategic and operational
leadership experiences to the company. Since he started his career at
Lufthansa Technik he held several leading positions in International
Sales and Business Development Ventures. “We are pleased to gain
someone with such experiences in the MRO industry and moreover on
strategic business development for Spairliners. Mr Hueschler’s
appointment fits in perfectly with the E-Jet expansion and the
upcoming growth of the company”, says Dr. Burkhard Andrich, member of
the Supervisory Board of Spairliners. “With its highly skilled
personnel and an excellent managing team, namely Olivier Mazzucchelli
(CEO) and Sven-Uve Hueschler (CFO), Spairliners is very well
positioned to cope with the exciting challenges ahead”, adds Robert
Anton, chairman of the Board.

“I am excited to be joining Spairliners and feel honoured to take on
my new position at this important phase of the company’s growth”,
says Sven-Uve Hueschler. “To continue the success of a Joint Venture
between two well-recommended MROs by entering a new market is a
challenging task”, he adds. Former CFO Andre Schulte-Bisping held
this position for three and a half years and has now returned to
Lufthansa Technik. “We would like to thank Andre Schulte-Bisping for
all his contributions and helping us to grow into a world leader for
Component Services. For his future career we wish him all the best”,
Spairliners’ CEO Olivier Mazzucchelli says.

Spairliners, known as the market leader for A380 Integrated Component
Care, expanded its portfolio with an equal spectrum for the E-Jet
family. The company counts large A380-operators such as Air France,
Lufthansa, Malaysia Airlines and Qantas to its long-term customers.
Beyond that, it has been contracted 11 regional airlines in terms of
its latest E-Jet component care.
