Spirit AeroSystems Aftermarket Customer Support Signs Spare Parts Agreement with China Airlines

FARNBOROUGH, England, July 9, 2012 /PRNewswire/ — Spirit AeroSystems, Inc. (NYSE: SPR) and China Airlines announced the signing of a supply agreement whereby Spirit Aftermarket Customer Support (ACS) will provide thrust reverser, fuselage, and wing component spare parts for China Airlines’ fleet of Boeing aircraft. This multi-year contract will enable China Airlines to obtain predictable and competitive pricing for all parts in the Spirit Catalog while ensuring availability for key parts and components.

China Airlines currently operates 10 Boeing 737-800, 13 Boeing 747-400, and 20 Boeing 747-400F airplanes. China Airlines also operates Airbus A330 and A340 aircraft.
