Spirit Airlines announces service to San Salvador, El Salvador

Miramar, Florida – Spirit Airlines today announced that it is further expanding its network of ultra low fares throughout Central America with the introduction of service to San Salvador, El Salvador. Subject to foreign government approval, Spirit will begin operating three non-stop flights per week between Fort Lauderdale and San Salvador, El Salvador on June 13, 2011.

Spirit is launching the new El Salvador service with $22 introductory fares* (each way based on round-trip purchase) available through January 28, 2011, at www.spiritair.com.
