SR Technics extends its line maintenance network in Switzerland

August 22, 2013 – Zurich, Switzerland: SR Technics has signed two contracts with easyJet to provide line maintenance services on the airline’s entire Airbus A319 and A320 Swiss registered fleet. With a three-year contract extension for Geneva and a new three-year contract for Basel, SR Technics will support a total of 22 aircraft in Switzerland.

SR Technics’ Swiss line maintenance organization has more than 140 employees, 18 of which are based in Basel. Services offered include standard line maintenance, routine inspections, trouble shooting, defect rectification and out of phase work packages as required.

“We are delighted to further extend our long-standing strategic partnership with easyJet, which is now in its fifteenth year,” comments André Wall, President at SR Technics. “Since we were awarded our first full maintenance contract on the airline’s Boeing 737 fleet in 1998, we have carried out heavy maintenance checks out of our Center of Excellence in Malta for narrowbody aircraft and currently provide line maintenance support out of our six line stations in the UK. Our collaborative working approach is central to the teams successfully maintaining a strong record for technical dispatch reliability and on-time delivery of aircraft.”
