ST ENGINEERING ANNOUNCES MANAGEMENT CHANGE AT ST AEROSPACE

Singapore, 12 May 2014 – Singapore Technologies Engineering Ltd (ST Engineering) announced that with effect from 1 July 2014, Mr Chang Cheow Teck will step down from his position as President of ST Aerospace to pursue personal commitments.

Mr Tan Pheng Hock, the Group’s President and CEO, will oversee the business of ST Aerospace until a successor is appointed. To facilitate a smooth transition, Mr Chang will take on a role as Advisor to Mr Tan until 31 December 2014.

“I thank Cheow Teck for his contributions to the Group, especially in strengthening the global leadership position of the Group’s Aerospace sector since taking over four years ago. We will continue to benefit from his wealth of experience in his new capacity as Advisor to ensure continuity as I oversee the Aerospace sector, where I am ably supported by a team of experienced management executives,” said Mr Tan.

Mr Chang took on his current role in mid-2010. He has been with the Group since 1990, and had held several senior management appointments including that of President, ST Marine; President, Special Projects, ST Engineering; Executive Vice President, Commercial Business, ST Aerospace; President, VT Systems; and President, Defence Business, ST Kinetics.
