STS Component Solutions Acquires Another CFM56-7B Engine

Palm City, Florida – October 21, 2013 – STS Component Solutions, a division of the STS Aviation Group, is pleased to announce the acquisition of another CFM56-7B engine. The engine was previously operated by Austrian Airlines and is currently being disassembled. All components will be re-certified and made available for sale. The CFM56-7B Engine is the most popular engine in commercial aviation with nearly 8,400 in service on Boeing 737 aircraft flown by more than 190 airlines. This engine acquisition further broadens STS Component Solutions’ engine component service offerings.

STS also noted that with the addition of this engine, they are able to offer comprehensive supply chain solutions for this product and its components while providing “nose-to-tail” service and support to their global customer base.
