Sun-Air of Scandinavia A/S announces a satisfying result

The Danish airline company Sun-Air of Scandinavia A/S, which operates as a franchise partner for British Airways, came out of the latest financial year with a profit of 51.5 million Danish crowns (EBT).

The financial year of 2013/2014 showed an impressing result for Sun-Air, as the company experienced a positive development in all of its departments, consisting of scheduled flights, charter flights, spare parts trade and international aircraft sales and leasing as well as the operation of aircraft repairs.

The Sun-Air company strategy is based on a high level of service – both when it comes to the passengers on scheduled flights in cooperation with British Airways, but also with individual charter flights and customers in repairs.

The Sun-Air ad hoc charter flights, which take place under the brand “JoinJet”, also had an extremely positive development during the past year. In November 2014, SUN-AIR took over the shares in ScanTech (Scandinavian Aircraft Technologies A/S), which is a flight- component- and maintenance workshop based in Sindal Airport employing 16 people.
