SuperJet International – a joint venture between Alenia Aeronautica (a Finmeccanica Company) and Sukhoi Holding – announced today the execution of a “SuperCare” Agreement with the launch customer Armavia for after-sales support of its SSJ100 fleet of 2 aircraft.
The agreement was announced at the Le Bourget International Airshow by Mr. Carlo Logli, Chief Executive Officer of SuperJet International, and Mr Norayr Shakratovich Belluyan, General Director of Armavia.
SuperJet International will provide the Armenian carrier Armavia with customized spares availability and maintenance/repair solutions of on-board equipments for an initial term of 6 years. The agreement is worth about USD 4 million.
The “SuperCare” agreement is a comprehensive “per-flight-hour” program developed by SJI with the aim of maximizing aircraft availability to operators and optimizing their maintenance and associated administrative costs.

A similar “SuperCare” agreement was also signed in January 2011 with the Mexican airline Interjet, along with the order of 15 aircraft plus 5 options – continued Mr. Logli – thus showing the added value of such an integrated lifecycle solution specifically designed for our valuable SSJ100 operators.

The 2 plus 3 Sukhoi Superjet 100 aircraft’s order with Armavia was finalized by SCAC (Sukhoi Civil Aircraft Company). SuperJet International, which is responsible for worldwide after-sales support for SSJ100 aircraft, will carry out maintenance and technical support not only to Western Customers, but also to SCAC’s Customers.
In this perspective, SuperJet International is currently providing Armavia with Flight Crew, Cabin Crew and Maintenance staff training courses, along with on-site support.
The first SSJ100 had 98% dispatch reliability in the first month of operation, confirming its great performances and operational capabilities. So far the SSJ100 totalized 120 flights and more than 269 hours.
