Paulo Castello Branco, TAM vice president of Sales and Alliances, was appointed to be one of the 20 members of the IATA Sectorial Affairs Committee (International Air Transport Assotiation – Associação de Transporte Aéreo Internacional), entity gathering about 230 commercial aviation companies from 126 countries around the world.
In his two-year contract, the executive will be one of the ones responsible for coordinating the industry´s efforts in dialogue with the sector regulators around the world. The committee works closely with the entity´s general direction, developing policies and providing advice to IATA´s actions.

We will strive our best to ensure regulatory conditions that benefit the industry, customers, shareholders and suppliers”, said Castello Branco.
The Sectorial Affairs Committee must, among other responsibilities, prepare the positioning of the sector, supervise the enforcement of policies and promote campaigns on customer service, tariffs and prices, government relations and free competition, among others.
