Mathew Burris, newly appointed Chief Executive Officer at TES Aviation Group, the UK Engine Asset Management firm, has confirmed further Senior Management Team appointments, designed to support the continued growth and service offerings of the company.
Karl Gibson is promoted to Chief Operating Officer, from his previous role as Operations Director. Karl has over 15 years’ service with TES, having joined shortly after the company was established. He will be responsible for strategic management focus, along with ensuring that sustainable improvements are made in operational performance.
Industry veteran Allan Jones is promoted to the newly created role of Chief Strategy Officer, responsible for creating, communicating and executing sustainable strategic initiatives within TES. Allan has previously held roles at Air New Zealand, Rolls Royce & Pratt & Whitney.
He joined TES in 2008 and has held positions as Director Materials & Director Acquisitions & Business Development.
Russell Jones is newly promoted to the Senior Management Team, as Director of Asset Management. Russell has been with TES since 2000, in various roles supporting the Engineering activity, most recently as Technical Asset Manager.
Russell will take full responsibility for asset management of TES owned & consigned engines and materials, including acquisitions, leases and disposals.
