TES Aviation Group UK (TES) with the support of its parent DVB Bank SE, takes delivery of Final JAL 747-400D aircraft

In an historic event, TES accepts delivery of the final 747-400D aircraft from Japan Airlines this month. The CF6-80C2B1F powered B747 is the final aircraft of 6 aircraft delivered to TES under a deal involving DVB Bank, Deucalion Aviation Funds and Sojitz Corporation.

All aircraft have been flown to Arkansas, USA. Universal Asset Management (UAM) is handling the disassembly and sales of all airframe material following purchase of the airframes by Aircraft Solutions, LLC. TES is responsible for the exit of all of the CF6-80C2B1F engines through a combination of stub-time engine leases and engine parts sales.

Ashley Cooper CEO of TES Aviation Group stated “It has been a pleasure to work with JAL on this program which has seen the phase-out of their domestic 747 operations. The CF6 engines continue to generate very strong demand in the market place from a lease and a parts perspective. This acquisition has significantly increased our CF6 inventory levels and has positioned us as one of the leading stockists of quality overhauled CF6 materials in the market place. TES continues to develop a strong platform client base for clients requiring a proactive Technical and Commercial Management Program, lease engine support and quality overhauled parts to reduce maintenance cost.”
