The Swedish state has continued confidence in SAS

SAS Scandinavian Airlines together with Star Alliance ™ partners Lufthansa, Swiss and Austrian Airlines, has once again won the Swedish government’s procurement of air travel. The agreement is worth a total of 700 million Swedish kronor.

Swedish Armed Forces Logistics FMLOG, who carried out the contract, valued SAS’ environmental approach and eco-certifications as a priority. Other key factors that influenced the decision was the amount of direct routes that SAS offers, and the wide network of routes on offer together with Star Alliance ™ partners.

“We take care of our customers’ time. We not only offer many departures and a vast network, but also focus on providing time-saving products and services that make your trip smooth and costeffective. We are also Europe’s most punctual airline, so there is much valuable time saving for the Swedish state employees when flying with us” says Lars-Ove Filipson, Vice President, Corporate Sales.

Most foreign travel in 2010 did the Swedish government to Brussels, London and Copenhagen. The agreement is valid for one year and runs until May 31, 2012. The SAS contract is used by 265 state agencies, work, colleges and universities in Sweden.
