Moscow, November 20, 2013 – Transaero Airlines has unveiled its operational results for the first ten months of 2013. The results demonstrate the company’s stable development and highlight growth across all key performance indicators.
In January-October 2013:
· Revenue passenger kilometers (RPK) increased to a total of 40,083 million, a 15.9% increase over the first ten months of 2012
· Number of passengers carried reached 10,885,614, a 22.2% increase compared to January-October 2012
· Freight turnover grew to a total of 3,919 million tkm, a 14.7% rise over the first ten months of 2012
· Transaero delivered a total of 54,823.24 tons of cargo in the first ten months of 2013, up 3.5% on January-October 2012
The results of the first ten months of 2013 demonstrate that Transaero Airlines has passed a new benchmark in its development as it carried more by 550,000 passengers in January-October 2013 than in 12 months of 2012 (10.3 million passengers).
In October 2013 Transaero carried 1,062,457 passengers, a 27.9% rise over October 2012. For the first time in the airline’s history the number of passengers carried in October has exceeded 1 million passengers.
