Transaero Airlines Carried 11.7 Million Passengers in January-November 2013

December 19, 2013, Moscow – Transaero Airlines has announces its operational results for the first eleven months of 2013. The results demonstrate the company’s stable development and highlight growth across all key performance indicators.

In January-November 2013:
• Revenue passenger kilometers (RPK) increased to a total of 43,611 million, a 15.6% increase over the first eleven months of 2012
• Number of passengers carried reached 11,721,390, a 21.9% increase compared to January-November 2012
• Freight turnover grew to a total of 4,277 million tkm, a 14.4% rise over the first eleven months of 2012
• Transaero delivered a total of 62,291.73 tons of cargo in the first eleven months of 2013, up 4.7% on January-November 2012

Highlights of November 2013:

Transaero Airlines successfully passed regular EASA audit.
Transaero extended its first class offering Imperial class on board its Boeing 737-800 narrowbody aircraft.
The airline launched flights within Flight of Hope charitable project.
Transaero was named the Best Foreign Airline in the Republic of Kazakhstan
Transaero was awarded with “Leadership Index. The best companies for carriers and to work for 2013.”
