Transaero Airlines Carried More Than One Million Passengers in May 2013

Moscow, June 6, 2013, – Transaero Airlines has summed up its preliminary operational results for May 2013 that demonstrate a significant y-o-y indicators’ growth.

In May 2013:
∙Number of passengers carried reached 1,140, 572, a 36.7% increase comparing with May 2012
∙Revenue passenger kilometers (RPK) increased to 3,940 million, a 28.3% growth over May 2012

For the first time in its history the airline has passed a new benchmark carrying over 1 million passengers in a spring month. The airline has witnessed such record indicators earlier during peak traveling season, i.e. in summer months and in September. Moreover, Transaero’s passenger traffic this May has exceeded the result of last June by 35,000 passengers.

The airline’s network this summer season covers over 190 routes in Russia, Europe, Asia, Africa and the Americas.
