Transaero Airlines Leases Two Tupolev-204-100C Freight Aircraft

Moscow, October 3, 2012 – Transaero Airlines and Ilyushin Finance Co. (IFC) announce the signing of a long-term agreement on leasing of two Tupolev-204-100C freight aircraft (serial numbers 64051 and 64052).

In accordance with the document the first aircraft is scheduled to be delivered to Transaero in 2012 while the second in 2013.

The firm order is planned to be signed within a month after all the terms and conditions of aircraft and engines MRO will be finalized with the producers.

Though at present Transaero does not operate any freight aircraft, the airline is currently the largest cargo carrier in terms of RTK on domestic routes.
