Transaero Airlines аnd China Airlines Sign Code-Share Agreement

April 25, 2013 – Today Transaero Airlines, Russia’s second largest carrier, and China Airlines have concluded a code-share agreement on joint operation of flights on the Moscow-Bangkok-Taipei route.

The agreement was signed by Dmitriy Stolyarov, First Deputy General Director Transaero Airlines, and James Yu, Senior Vice-President China Airlines.

Under the code-share agreement passengers will get an opportunity to travel between Moscow and Taipei via Bangkok. Transaero Airlines will be an operator of flights on the Moscow-Bangkok route and China Airlines will operate flights on the Bangkok-Taipei route.

Dmitriy Stolyarov, First Deputy Director General Transaero Airlines, said: “We highly appreciate the signing of the code-share agreement with China Airlines. The agreement will allow our passengers to travel with comfort to Taiwan as well as it will provide new travel opportunities for passengers from Taiwan. No doubt that this agreement serves the interests of our clients and benefit them.”

Tickets on the joint Moscow-Taipei flights can be purchased at the airlines’ ticket offices, agent sales offices.
