Transaero Airlines Results for January-July 2011

Moscow, August 25, 2011 – Transaero Airlines announces its operational results for the first seven months of 2011.

For the period from January to July 2011:
· Passenger turnover reached 17.74 billion RPK, 27% higher than in the first seven months of 2010
· The total number of passengers carried amounted to 4,474,830, which is 25.9% more than in the same period previous year
· Transaero transported a total of 25,732 tons of cargo, 35% more than in the first seven months of 2010
· Ton-kilometers totaled 1.74 billion TKM, 27.5% more than in the same period previous year.
In July 2011:
· Revenue passenger-kilometers (RPK) totaled 3.419 billion, 31.8% more than for in July 2010
· Passenger volume constituted 1,030,496 passengers, 33% more than in the same month last year.
For the first time ever Transaero carried more than 1 million passengers within a month.
In January – July Transaero demonstrated the highest rates of growth among top-five Russian carriers.
